Caracalla, 198-217. Sestertius (Orichalcum, 31 mm, 22.00 g, 12 h), Rome, 212-213. M AVREL ANTONINVS PIVS AVG BRIT Laureate head of Caracalla to right. Rev. SECVRITATI PERPETVAE / S C Securitas seated right on throne, resting her head on her right hand and holding short scepter in her left; to right, garlanded altar. BMC 250. Cohen 576 corr. (omits PIVS on the obverse in error). RIC 512d. Minor deposits and the reverse somewhat double struck, otherwise, about extremely fine.
